A farmer and his children

One day, a farmer planted a papaya tree in his garden. The tree grew well and bore considerable fruit after a few years.

The farmer did not allow anyone to take the fruit before it was ready.

A few days later, one of the fruits began to ripen. Seeing the beautiful fruit, the farmer's children wanted to eat it. They asked their father to let them eat the fruit, but he wouldn't allow them.

The farmer said, "Let us collect all the fruit first; only then can we enjoy it together."

A few days later, another fruit appeared. But by that time, the previous fruit had been lost.

The farmer's children asked to eat this fruit as well, but the farmer said the same thing as before. Thus, after a few days, the fruit ripened.

Some of the fruit was slightly spoiled. Not all the tree's fruit was the same. Some were found and saved, and some were eaten by insects.

The children wanted to eat the nutritious fruit, but the farmer wouldn't let them. The children expressed great sadness for their father. But in the end, the farmer was very sorry to see his children grieving and crying.
