Know About the Bodoland

'Bodoland' is the demanded state name by All Bodo Students Union. The word 'Bodoland' coined by Bodofa Upendranath Brahma in 1986. At presently Bodoland Territorial Region is officially known as Bodoland.

Kokrajhar: One of the five districts of Bodoland Territorial Region. It is the largest and most populous district under Bodoland Territorial Region.

Chirang: One of the districts of Bodoland Territorial Region. It is famous for its picnic spots and Oil Refinery in Dhaligaon near Bongaigaon.

Baksa: One of the districts of Bodoland Territorial Region.

Udalguri: One of the five districts of Bodoland Territorial Region.

Tamulpur: One of the five districts of Bodoland Territorial Region. It is one of the newest districts of Assam.

Bodoland University: The first University in Bodoland. The university located in Kokrajhar district.

Manas National Park: One of the national parks in India located under Bodoland Territorial Region. The park is famous for housing endangered species, including the Royal Bengal Tiger, one horned rhinoceros, golden langur, pygmy hog, elephant etc.

Raimona National Park: The park located under Kokrajhar district.

Sikwna Jwhwlao National Park: It is one of the National Parks in Assam. The park located under Kokrajhar district.
