The Bodo or Boro is a language spoken in India. A song sung in Bodo is called a Bodo song. The Bodos started out singing folk songs before they began recording songs in the Bodo language, and you can still hear these folk tunes among the Bodo society today.
The first recording of a song in Bodo was by the famous folk singer Nileswar Brahma in 1952. After him, many other Bodo singers started recording songs as well. Nowadays, quite a few Bodo singers have also sung for films.

Anaya Brahma is an Indian singer. She has so far sung several songs in Boro, Assamese and Hindi languages. She became popular by singing a song in the Bollywood film 'Chaar Din Ki Chandni'.
She has sung many songs in Boro language so far. Some of the famous songs sung by her are 'Swrjiyw Ang Dinwi', 'Jwnghani Barini Ambu Bongla'.
In 2024, she awarded Best Folk Singer in Bodo Language for her song 'Amwkhi Kachary'.
Ramsingh Gerla Brahma one of the famous comedians in Bodo film industry was also a singer. He sang a song called "Ma Nagirdwng Nani" in the film Somni Dauleng. This song is kind of a unique one, sounding funny but also sort of giving awareness to the girls who live in village.
