There was a farmer in a village who once planted ten bighas of paddy. The soil was very fertile, and with the right amounts of rain, water, and sunlight, the paddy crop grew very well. The farmer's house was near the forest, which was home to many animals. These creatures often came into the village and caused trouble. Forest foxes would take birds, pigs, and chickens from the village. In the forest, kites and crows also guided the young chikens of the village. Therefore, the villagers were obliged to take care of the animals they kept on their farms and at home. The villagers felt very satisfied when their crops were successful. My third novel Hama

This is my third novel. I had written two novels before this one. The novels are titled 'Gongar' and 'Dwiyaonw Thangbai'. My first novel was accepted for Novodoy Publication Scheme by the Sahitya Akademi in 2019 and was published as a book in 2025. My second novel, 'Dwiyaonw Thangnai', was shortlisted by the Bodo Writers' Academy for the Boro Laimwn Thunlaiyari Bantha in 2025. The Hama novel was written and completed within a year. It mainly documents the efforts of a village woman to care for her children and provide them with a proper education and character. This novel tells the story of a woman's ability to shape a human being through her hard work and struggle, to raise her children well, and to impart true knowledge through her efforts.

Kalicharan Brahma and His Education Kalicharan Brahma known as Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma was the great leader as well as one of the greatest Bodo personalities of 20th Century in Assam state, India. He was an Indian nationalist, great thinker, first preacher of Brahma Dharma among the Bodos, social reformer, and an eye opener of the tribal community in Northeast India. Kalicharan Brahma was born as Kalicharan Mech at Kajigaon village of Tipkai under Assam state on 18th April 1860. He was the fourth and youngest son of Khoularam Mech, a timber merchant and rich person of those day in Bodo society originally from Tipkai, Goalpara district (now Kokrajhar district), and Randini Mech, a housewife. At the age of 16, Kalicharan Brahma married 15 years-old lady Khwmshri Mech in 1876. They had two daughters namely Dondi and Nalini.
